The whole run, at a glance

every on-chain series in one place - volume, treasury, battles, trades. each line is scaled to its own peak so they share one axis; toggle any of them and hover for the real number.

WaveWarZ / on-chain overview

Every pool, fee, and payout settles on-chain, so here is the whole run in one place - volume, treasury, battles, trades - decoded from program 9TUf. Trades come from a complete chain scan; Dune, which counts failed transactions as trades, supplies the rest. Each line is scaled to its own peak so they share one axis; hover for the real number.

For live battle-by-battle browsing, leaderboards, and song charts, WaveWarZ's own Intelligence dashboard ↗ already does that well - this tracker focuses on the treasury/financial history and record-keeping side instead.

What WaveWarZ is

start here. what the platform is, and how a single song-vs-song battle actually plays out on-chain.

WaveWarZ / the brief

A decentralized music-battle platform on Solana. Artists go head-to-head song-vs-song; fans trade SOL on who wins. Everything settles in native SOL - there is no platform token. Each battle mints two ephemeral per-artist tokens on a bonding curve; you buy the side you back and claim winnings after settlement.

TREASURY NET4.18 ◎~the 3.5 floor - ≈ $432

since 2025-05-26 - snapshot 2026-09-09T11:52Z. On-chain vs the wavewarz.info app: 1,643 battles (app ~1,500); 921 ◎ traded, both sides (the platform reports 921.29 ◎); app 408.73 ◎ claimed by traders (1928 withdrawals). Trades and claims are from a complete chain scan; the rest is decoded via Dune, whose own trade counts include failed transactions.

HOW A BATTLE WORKS
  1. initializeBattle - a battle is created with two artists, a SOL vault, and two token mints.
  2. buyShares / sellShares - fans trade SOL for the side they back on a bonding curve. Volume feeds the Charts score.
  3. Winner = best 2 of 3: Poll (community vote) + Charts (SOL volume) + DJ Wavy (AI judge).
  4. endBattle - settles; the loser pool is distributed.
  5. claimShares - traders manually withdraw winnings.

Formats: Quick Battles (nightly) and Main Events (catalog vs catalog).

ECONOMICS (PER IDL)
Per trade - total fee1.500% of trade
That fee splits, artist / platform67 / 33
So per trade - artist1.005% of trade
So per trade - platform0.495% of trade
Settlement - winning traders40% of loser pool (pro-rata)
Settlement - losing traders refund50% of loser pool
Settlement - winning artist5% of loser pool
Settlement - losing artist2% of loser pool
Settlement - platform3% of loser pool

Platform revenue = 0.495% of every trade + 3% of every loser pool -> the treasury wallet and its ~3.5 SOL operating floor.

KEY ADDRESSES
Treasury / dev walletFNjYtw...iakq37

FNj is the platform / team operations wallet - the team launches battles and trades with it, which is why it's the top program signer and shows up as the #5 "trader" (448W-154L) on the leaderboard. So its activity mixes platform ops with real trades. (Confirmed by the team.)

TEAM
  • hurric4n3ike (Ikechi Nwachukwu) - founder / lead developer. Also an artist.
  • BetterCallZaal (Zaal Panthaki) - cofounder, head of ecosystem. Founder of The ZAO.

WaveWarZ / how it works

A battle is two songs going head-to-head. Fans buy SOL-backed shares on the side they think will win; the winning side splits the loser's pool. Everything is on-chain in native SOL - no platform token.

THE LIFECYCLE OF A BATTLE
1
initializeBattle
Two artists are set, a SOL vault and two per-artist token mints (Artist A / Artist B) are created. The battle has a start and end time.
2
buyShares / sellShares
During the battle, fans trade SOL for shares of a side on a bonding curve (price rises as more is bought). You can sell back before settlement. Buy volume feeds the "Charts" score.
3
judging (best 2 of 3)
The winner is decided by Poll (community vote) + Charts (SOL volume) + DJ Wavy (an AI judge) - best two of three.
4
endBattle
After the end time, the battle settles. The losing side's pool is distributed (see splits below).
5
claimShares
Winners must manually claim their winnings - payouts are not automatic.
WHERE THE MONEY GOES
Each trade -> total fee1.500%
That fee splits, artist / platform67 / 33
So each trade -> artist1.005%
So each trade -> platform0.495%
Each trade -> stays in the pool98.5%
Settlement: winning traders (pro-rata)40% of loser pool
Settlement: losing traders refund50% of loser pool
Settlement: winning artist5% of loser pool
Settlement: losing artist2% of loser pool
Settlement: platform3% of loser pool

Settlement per the on-chain IDL. The trade fee and its split were measured on chain at exact lamports across 14 trades in 7 battles - the platform's own fee schedule still says 1.00 / 0.50. So even a losing artist earns, and the artist takes twice what the platform does on every trade.

FORMATS
  • Quick Battles - single song vs song, run nightly.
  • Main Events - catalog vs catalog across multiple rounds / tournament brackets.
GLOSSARY
  • Shares - per-artist tokens you buy on the bonding curve; your stake on a side.
  • Vault - the on-chain SOL pool for a battle (a program PDA).
  • Loser pool - the SOL staked on the losing side, redistributed at settlement.
  • Claim - manually withdrawing your winnings after a battle settles.
  • Floor - the ~3.5 SOL the treasury keeps; founders skim the excess.
02

The treasury floor

the headline. the platform wallet's daily balance held against a 3.5 SOL operating floor - live from Dune, refreshed every morning.

03

Growth over time

cumulative SOL traded since the platform's first battle in May 2025 - the real shape, at true scale.

04

Where every SOL goes

the fee schedule made visible: 1.5% per trade split two-to-one in the artist's favour, the settlement waterfall, and the skip-queue auction.

05

Profitability + the split

once the wallet is past the floor, the excess distributes: 33% operations, 22% each to Hurricane / Candy / Zaal.

06

Weekly revenue analytics

real weekly inflow to the on-chain fee wallet - this week's revenue, the trend, and the per-battle fee.

07

The program itself

the program as a state machine - every battle walks create, mint, trade, settle, claim. the gaps between those stages are the interesting part, and no other WaveWarZ surface shows them.

08

Reading the market

when the money shows up, which artists pull it in, and how often the crowd is right - measured across every battle rather than picked out by hand.

09

The newsletter

posts from the WaveWarZ blog on Paragraph - fetched live, never copied. new posts appear here on their own.

three surfaces, three owners, one standard. what exists, what is blocked, and what is blocking it - measured, not planned.
